Difference between cast and forged wheel hub:

1.Price. Because the forging process is much more than the low-pressure forging, compared with the casting, the metallographic structure of the forged wheel hub is broken grain and forged structure, and the latter is dendritic grain and cast structure. In the aspect of single mechanical property index, the forging quality is generally increased by 30% - 50%, and the individual index is several times higher. Therefore, the same type of wheel hub is usually more expensive than low-pressure casting.
2.Appearance. Whether it is a cast or forged hub, it is difficult to see too much difference from appearance without marking after various processes, but generally, the forged hub spokes will be more simple and fine.
3.Performance. The wheel hub produced by low pressure casting has good filling property, less shrinkage and high compactness because of mold filling and solidification under pressure. The wheel hub produced by forging has higher strength, toughness and fatigue strength because the grain flow direction of the wheel hub is consistent with the stress direction.

Only those that can't be forged, the cost of forging is too high, or the mechanical properties of products are very low, can they use casting products. Now many are casting to forging, the process is very complicated, low material utilization. It is recommended to choose forged wheel hub.

Observe the coolant level
First, open the front cover of the vehicle and observe the coolant level. There are two reasons for the decrease of coolant when the vehicle is parked for a long time

1.Coolant leakage: first observe whether there is coolant leakage at the bottom of the car. If there is any leakage, take measures to stop the leakage in time, and then add the coolant between the lines.

2.Aging and cracking of water retaining ring of engine cylinder liner: if there is no coolant leakage at the bottom of the vehicle, check the oil level and increase the oil level, it means that the water retaining ring of the engine liner is aging and cracking, which leads to the coolant flowing into the oil pan. At this time, it is important to pay attention to the failure to start the engine, and contact the service station for maintenance as soon as possible.

Check the air reservoir for water
After parking for a long time, the air pressure of the air reservoir is low. This is a good time to check the air reservoir. The air reservoir should be drained from front to back. If the air reservoir can discharge water, the drying tank should be replaced in time.
