Advantage:

The heat dissipation performance is lesser than standard axle PCD:Ø335 during high speed driving. BPW brand axle as well. Because the space inside brake drum is small.

 

What axle and suspension mistake to cause TBR tire fast wearing?

The design and manufacturing parameters of semi-trailer do not meet the standard

Because the manufacturer’s manufacturing process is not up to standard, there is a large deviation in the position of semi-trailer frame, suspension and leaf spring, which makes the semi-trailer lose good vibration damping characteristics, and it is also one of the important factors causing tire wear.

1 .the difference between the distance between the center of the traction pin and the grounding center of the left and right tires of the trailer axle exceeds the standard

In this case, the tire is subjected to an additional lateral force, which increases the probability of left-right swing of the semi-trailer during driving, resulting in tire tread wear.

  1. The installation of leaf spring is misplaced

The serious dislocation between the plates in the leaf spring assembly will cause great changes in the stiffness and damping of the leaf spring assembly, cause bad vibration and impact of the semi-trailer during driving, and deteriorate the driving performance of the tire, resulting in abnormal wear of the tire.

3 wheel rotation mass imbalance

The wheel with balance difference produces vibration and impact in its rotation plane. The impact load acts on the tire and causes additional stress in the carcass, resulting in highly uneven wear of the tread. It is well known that when the steel ring of the trolley is damaged, a counterweight should be added to maintain dynamic balance. Similarly, the steel ring of the semi-trailer will also cause abnormal tire wear – tire eating after losing dynamic balance.

4 Loose nuts on the wheel hub, loose wheel hub bearing, loose suspension support, failure to tighten the leaf spring U-bolt according to the specified torque, serious wear of leaf spring pin and bushing and other factors will cause the tire to swing left and right during driving and cause tire eating.

5 Brake drag or poor wheel hub bearing rotation

In this case, the running resistance of the tire is very large. At the same time, the heat generation of the brake hub and the tire increases sharply, which will cause rapid wear of the tire tread. The main factors causing abnormal tire wear of semi-trailer are sharp braking and sharp turning.
